Our dynamic, forward thinking design team combine their expertise with the knowledge of Chartered Patent and Trademark Attorneys to develop new concepts cohesively. We create award-winning, market leading products for individuals and companies across a large number of different industries.
We seek a senior designer to be based at the Cheltenham design studio and you would be expected to take a leading role in designing and project managing the concept-to-market process for a wide range of clients from start-ups to multi-national companies.
The successful candidate will be intricately involved in: drafting design specifications, managing client expectations, concept generation, project management, CAD development, prototyping, producing manufacturing specifications and overseeing the production of samples by our UK and Far East partner manufacturing companies.
The scope of project work is huge from small electronic products to medical products and mechanical devices. We have growing prototyping facilities and a dedicated, highly-skilled team that helps ensure a desirable working environment.
The successful candidate will be an exceptional, talented, problem solving senior designer with creative flair, and excellent client handling ability.

• Strong CAD modelling (ideally Solidworks or Pro E).
• 5+ years experience demonstrating excellent capability to balance function and form to create viable, appealing and functional products.
• Solid understanding of mechanics and electronics for product design.
• Able to bring out the best in other designers.
• Exceptional portfolio that demonstrates the ability to design production ready products.
• The enthusiasm and drive necessary to play a central role in the on-going development of a small company.
• Ability to ensure that projects meet specifications, standards, and performance requirements.
• Work independently, if necessary, to establish design requirements, conceptualise, plan and execute designs.
• Proven client handing ability.
• Show evidence of good organization and project planning skills.
